Rural Housing Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) funding opportunity - Community Facilities Technical Assistance and Training Grant for Fiscal Year 2018

  • This Notice announces that the Rural Housing Service (Agency) is accepting Fiscal Year (FY) 2018 applications for the Community Facilities Technical Assistance and Training (TAT) Grant program. The Agency is publishing the amount of funding received in the appropriations act on its website. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance funding opportunity - Adult Reentry and Employment Strategic Planning Program Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance # 16.812

  • The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP) Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is seeking applications under the Second Chance Act to develop a strategic plan for integrating correctional and employment programming and systems. This program furthers the Department’s mission to improve public safety, and reduce crime and recidivism, by providing services and programs to help facilitate the successful reintegration of offenders returning to communities after a prison or jail sentence. By offering tailored resources and innovative programs that invest federal dollars alongside private sector capital, the CDFI Fund serves mission-driven financial institutions that take a market-based approach to supporting economically disadvantaged communities. These mission-driven organizations are encouraged to apply for CDFI Certification and participate in CDFI Fund programs that inject new sources of capital into neighborhoods that lack access to financing.
