  1. Two Funding Opportunities with the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, Department of Education - Educational Technology, Media, and Materials for Individuals With Disabilities

    • The purposes of the Educational Technology, Media, and Materials for Individuals with Disabilities Program are to: (1) Improve results for students with disabilities by promoting the development, demonstration, and use of technology; (2) support educational activities designed to be of educational value in the classroom for students with disabilities; (3) provide support for captioning and video description that is appropriate for use in the classroom; and (4) provide accessible educational materials to students with disabilities in a timely manner.

  2. U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Publishes Brief on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act "SNAP E&T and WIOA: Partnering to Raise Skills and Employment”

    • The Department of Agriculture has published a new brief designed to help SNAP agencies develop and strengthen partners with workforce agencies and American Job Centers. See “Related Content 2”


  3. Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) Unveils Resource for Military Spouses

    • The new webpage Veterans.gov/milspouses brings together occupational license portability resources from across the federal government in one place and highlights states with licensing rights for military spouses. It is the result of collaborative work of the Department's Employment and Training Administration; Office of the Assistant Secretary for Policy; VETS; and Women's Bureau, and the Department of Defense.
