6.2 Million Open Jobs

New BLS data show 6.2 million job openings in June, including 338,000 in manufacturing and 225,000 in construction. Noting the record level of job openings, U.S. Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta said that expanding access to apprenticeships and reducing excessive occupational licensing can help connect hardworking Americans to available jobs.
