Department of Energy (DOE) Announces $128 Million in New Projects to Advance Solar Technologies - DOE will fund 75 innovative research projects that will lower solar electricity costs, while working to boost solar manufacturing, reduce red tape, and make solar systems more resilient to cyberattacks. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) - USDA/NIFA has identified a total of $4,800,000 for investment in the Centers of Excellence at 1890 Institutions (1890 COEs) with the expectation of 50 awards. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Invites nominations for membership on the Farm, Ranch, and Rural Communities Advisory Council (FRRCC) - FRRCC is a policy-oriented committee that provides policy advice, information, and recommendations to the Administrator on a range of environmental issues and policies that are of importance to agriculture and rural communities.
